Abstract
The purpose of the present study was
to develop a scale to measure English anxiety of secondary school students. To
do so, 43 items were initially constructed with the help of subject matter
experts and related literature survey. These items were given to seven faculty members of Dhaka
University for judgment. On the basis of judges’ evaluation twenty one items
were dropped and two new items were added totaling 24
